You will experience several underpainting media, including pastel with water, pastel with alcohol, pastel with watercolors, gouache, acrylics, and the pastels by themselves. Lessons in this class will explore the results of underpainting using color compliments, monochromatic colors, warm and cool colors, as well as local colors.
